Pembudidayaan Tanaman Pangan

Golongan Tanaman Pangan :

A. Serelia
Penghasil Karbohidrat, seperti Padi, Gandum, Jagung
-> Padi Sawah
Tumbuh di rawa-rawa dan dataran rendah
-> Padi Ladang
Tumbuh di dataran tinggi

B. Umbi
Penghasil Karbohidrat, seperti Singkong, Ubi Jalar
-> Singkong
Sangat mudah beradaptasi dengan luas pada daerah iklim tropis

C. Kacang
Penghasil Protein, seperti K. Tanah, K. Kedelai, K. Hijau
-> Kacang Kedelai
Tumbuh di daerah tropis, berhawa panas, terbuka dan memiliki curah hujan antara 100m - 400m kubik perbulan. Tumbuh pada semua jenis tanah.

Persiapan Pembudayaan :

1) Pembibitan :
Penyiapan Benih : Bibit harus baik
Pemindahan Benih : Penyampuran Benih dengan Fungisida

2) Pengolahan Media Tanah :
Tahap : Penyiapan lahan Bibit (cangkul, bajak), Pembukaan lahan (biasanya membakar lahan), Pembuatan drainase/pengairan (saluran air), Pengapuran (diberi pada tanah pH < 5), Pemupukan (Kekurangan Unsur Hara)

3) Pupuk :
Diberikan jika unsur Hara u/ pertumbuhan tanaman tidak mencukupi

Pelaksanaan Pembudayaan :

A. Teknik Penanaman :
- Pola Tanaman : Tumpang Sari, Tumpang Gilir, Tanaman Tersisipan, Tanaman Campuran
- Pembuatan lubang tanaman : - Alat tugal
- Cara penanaman :
-> Pengaturan Jarak tanaman
-> Jumlah biji
-> Efektifitas penanaman --> 4 Orang
